Welcome and well met! Pleased to present Tam Maluda Jones of The Northerly Gales and Dee Brust of SisterTree and Purgatory Creek, teaming up with Courtney Buck of St. Paul Mudsteppers as Twin Prop Jane to bring you those long lonesome waltzes, ecstatic tune sets, and folksy forays into far flung favorites that are never far from the surface, on the wisp of a breeze, or strappingly present as the mist rises and the engines roar to life.

Dee Brust
Ever seeking music and kindred spirits to balance and fulfill her wide-open heart, Dee is a language teacher for immigrants with five children of her own to entertain nightly. Purgatory Creek and SisterTree are a couple of her additional outlets, having traversed the gambit of many an Irish Pub, history festival, church, barn, and tot carnival. Happiest on barefoot trails, cooking over campfires, and regarding treelines creekside and by moonlight canoe, she offers percussive guitar, meandering mandolin, and sparkling vocals as her overtures are scattered to the rhythm of sugarplums dropped in the forest.
Tam Jones
Threading the needle every time as rock star, engineer, homesteader, and mother, Tam Jones embodies the perfect union of artist, scholar, civil servant, and free-thinker. Tam draws from a classical background, informed by dedicated roving at fiddle camps all around the country, and has developed a sensibility all her own. Pounding the stage with The Northerly Gales, accompanying The Hounds of Finn, welcome in any circle, her powerful, self-styled vocals and compositions demand attention and consideration, leaving the listener fascinated and drawn into her world.
Courtney Buck
Hailing from the North Shore of Lake Superior, Courtney Buck is a mother, teacher, free-lance florist, farm dweller, amazing songster, fiddler, and clawhand banjo player. Find her in flower fields, ice fishing, and slinging her shotgun in the woods when she’s not romping with the Janes, the St. Paul Mudsteppers, Gentlemen’s Anti-Temperance League, Broken Hearted String Band, and others. A warm and easily enjoyed stage presence pairs well with her psycho-killer persistence as she delivers. Count on Courtney to kick butt and bring biscuits!
